Meet the Family... it's an all-family operation
Schiefelbein Farms is a family operation that started in 1955 by Frank Schiefelbein. Fifty-seven years later with the addition of nine sons, eight daughters-in-law, thirty-two grandchildren, and eleven great- grandchildren, the operation continues to grow as fast as the family.

One of the Largest Registered Angus
Herds in the Country...
Schiefelbein Farms runs more than 700 registered Angus cows, 4,200
acres of pastures and crops and feeds hundreds of cattle each year. In 2010, we had the nation's 8th largest producer of
Angus Pathfinder cows!
A Cowman's Philosophy...
Since 100% of our income is derived from cattle, our program is in tune
with traits that impact your bottom line. Schiefelbein Farms has a simple philosophy when it comes to our cows. They either
work for us or they work for McDonalds. We do not tolerate open cows, cows with an attitude, cows that don't
raise a calf every year or cows
that don't wean a high percentage of their weight... it's as simple as that.
